If you have an accounting system that you are currently using and would like to continue using - we will continue using that software for your company.  We are familiar with a wide variety of software packages including (but not limited to): Quickbooks, Simply Accounting, Accpac, Great Plains, Navision and Avanti. Even if we haven’t used the specific software you are using - a lot of the accounting systems are very similar and we are willing and able to learn the software you are using.

If you are unhappy with your current software, or are just getting started and don’t have a software yet - we will work with you to determine your needs - and if we can use one of the accounting packages that Cabot Consulting Inc. owns - there is no need for you to buy a software.  This can save you the time and frustration of doing the research - as well as the cost of buying the software.

We can provide full cycle bookkeeping services - doing as much of as little as you require. Some examples are:

Managing your Accounts Receivable - ensuring that your customers are paying you in a timely fashion.

Accounts Payable - ensuring that you know what suppliers to pay and when - to maximize your cash flow as well as your discounts and savings.

Payroll - we can compile and complete your payroll and government remittances to ensure your employees get paid - and that you don’t end up with any late charges and penalties from Revenue Canada.
Do you have a payroll person - with no back-up trained - and they want to take holidays - we can cover the holiday time - and you don’t have to share the payroll information with other staff members - therefore maintaining full confidentiality.

GST Returns - we can ensure that your GST Returns are completed and filed on time - avoiding paying the government any late charges or penalties.

Month-end closing - completing tasks such as the bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, preparing your monthly, quarterly and / or annual financial statements.
